• In my opinion, you could get this tone from many cheap steel snares. This snare is choked!! Everything too tight. Certainly not the beautiful renowned open/deep sound I'd expect from a supraphonic. A supraphonic should not have so much snare tension. The drum cannot breathe with this. On another note, great drumming techniques ! You could make a biscuit tin sound good :) haha
