This might sound noob-ish but... When i try and jailbreak my Iphone 4s with redsn0w, i follow the steps by accordingly then on the last step (holding the menu button for 10 secs) when it gets to 8secs redsn0w shuts down and says yoyr iphone is in DFU mode and i cant do anything?? What am i doing wrong? Anyone? lol

DFU means Device Firmware Update. When placing your iPhone into DFU Mode it does not load the OS before attempting the restore. Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for 10 seconds. Just before you would normally see the Apple logo, release the Sleep/Wake button and keep hold the Home button until an iTunes detects an iPhone in DFU mode. NOTE**: This is really tricky to get the timing right it will take a few attempts. If you are in DFU Mode your screen will be black with nothing displayed.
the only way is to save your shsh blobs prior to upgrading sorry :(

Ok but i unjailbreak without dfu i just deleted everything in cydia and then fully reseted it with itunes then i updated to ios6 but now i have a greyed out wifi can you make a tutorial on how to downgrade iphone4s to ios 5.1.1 without shsh blobs but if that is impossible can you please explain how to get shsh blobs thank you for reading this hope you will make it

Really? There's only 10,000 'put you iphone in dfu mode" vids on YT. Did you really think they needed 100,001? Did the process somehow change since the advent of the Idevice? no..... If these noobs couldn't find the other 10,000 vids then we Don't want them to join the JB community.....Not sure who's worse the noobs thanking him for the vid or the noob posting it... any questions?
